Over the last few weeks, I’ve seen several residents of Conroe or The Woodlands come to the store. In fact, one gentleman who was selling 8000 in pre-1965 dimes came all the way form Conroe and told me that his drive would take him at least 45 minutes.
Perhaps North Houston and the area encompassed by the 77301, 77302, 77303, 77304 zip codes could benefit from having a store in the area? I’m not sure that Willis has a store, but having visited the area recently, it wouldn’t be a bad idea. There’s lots of cowboy investors out that way. There are probably lots of local folks in Willis who would like o have a local store so they didn’t have to drive all the way in to the city.
Houston Gold Merchants is in expansion mode. We’re growing slowly but steadily. And we may even go down south to the Pasedena, Clearlake area.
